Non Gamstop Casinos is an independent research site for adults in the UK who want to understand casinos that operate outside GamStop before they sign up to one. We explain the bonuses, payments, games, licences and risks in plain English, so you can judge an offer on its terms rather than its headline. Our current focus is slots, but the same questions apply to every casino product.

What we do and who we write for

Our readers are adults aged 18 and over, mostly in the UK, with very different levels of gambling knowledge. Some know what a wagering requirement is. Many do not, and we do not assume they should. So we explain the concepts that matter most:

  • How wagering requirements, maximum bonus bets and bonus cashout limits affect what a bonus is really worth.
  • Which payment routes may be available to British customers, and what fees or currency conversion may apply.
  • How withdrawals, identity checks and source-of-funds checks work, and where disputes tend to start.
  • What the difference is between a casino accepting British players and a casino being authorised to serve them.

Our main comparison is on the page Non Gamstop Casinos UK 2026 – Top Rated Sites Reviewed. This page explains who stands behind it and how it is put together.

Our position on GamStop and UK regulation

GamStop is the national self-exclusion scheme for online gambling in Great Britain. Casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission must check their customers against it. Casinos that hold overseas licences are not bound by the UK Gambling Commission's rules, and they do not have to take part in GamStop. That is what "non GamStop" means in practice.

It also means the protections are different. A UK licence brings UK complaint routes and standards. An overseas licence, such as one issued in Curaçao, brings the rules of that jurisdiction, which may be harder for a British customer to use. We say so plainly and do not describe any casino as completely safe.

If you registered with GamStop because gambling was causing you harm, please read our responsible gambling guide before going further. Using a non GamStop site can undo the protection you chose for yourself. Self-exclusion, deposit and loss limits, blocking software and support from GamCare are there for that reason.

How we research and rank casinos

We have not placed bets, deposited money or made withdrawals on these sites, and we do not claim to have. Our reviews are desk research: we read each casino's published terms, bonus conditions, payment pages and licence information, and we compare what they say. Facts on the site were checked as of 30 September 2026.

We separate three kinds of information so you can see how far to trust each one:

  1. Confirmed – details we have verified against the casino's own terms or an official register.
  2. Advertised – claims the casino makes in marketing, such as welcome offers and payout speeds. We report these as claims, not results.
  3. Unresolved – points we could not confirm. We say so instead of guessing.

The factors we weigh include:

  • Licence and ownership information, and how openly it is shown.
  • Bonus terms: wagering, game contribution, bet caps, expiry and cashout limits.
  • Payment options, minimum deposits, fees, GBP account availability and withdrawal limits.
  • Game range, including slots, live dealer tables and software providers.
  • Sports betting and other products beside the casino.
  • Customer support, complaints procedures and responsible gambling tools.

Editorial ratings are our own assessment of this research. They are not customer review scores.

How we make money, and why it does not buy a ranking

mrsgibson.co.uk may earn a commission if you click through to a casino and sign up. That is how the site is funded. Commission does not buy position: a casino cannot pay to rank higher, and we do not raise a rating because of a commercial relationship. The publisher supplies the casino selection, and we write about each one on the evidence we have. Every recommendation still carries at least one drawback, including the top-ranked site.

The casinos we currently cover

Our list currently includes Betmica, Kikibet, Betninja, WinnerIsland, Zombillion, Smash Casino, Nightluck, CoinPoker, Rivo and Daytonaspin. The ranking order and headline offers are shown in the cards on our comparison pages. Two things to keep in mind when you read them:

  • Headline bonuses are large, but they come with conditions. Wagering requirements, time limits and maximum bet rules decide what you can actually withdraw, so check them before you deposit.
  • Some offers are quoted in euros or dollars, not pounds. If you play from a GBP account, currency conversion fees may apply. Verify which currencies and payment methods a casino supports for UK customers before you rely on them.

What our reviews cannot do

  • They cannot guarantee a payout, a win or a smooth withdrawal.
  • They do not replace the casino's own terms, which can change. Read them before you deposit.
  • They are not advice on money. Gambling is not a source of income and not a fix for debt. Only stake what you can afford to lose.

Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over. If it is affecting you or someone close to you, GamCare offers free, confidential support, and our responsible gambling page lists further help.
